For the price, we got great value with a tidy and surprisingly spacious room. The beds were comfortable, towels were provided, and the bonus of having Netflix on the TV was a nice touch for winding down after a long road trip. The location was perfect, right in the heart of town and surrounded by multiple dining options. highly recommended and would definitely stay again.
The breakfast menu could have been improved with more options or a better selection.

The location of this hostel was great, right in the heart of the village. It offered convenient access to everything we needed. The room we stayed in was clean and tidy, with a modern ensuite bathroom. We also appreciated the spacious kitchen, which was well-stocked with all the necessary amenities. The shared seating area outside our room provided a lovely space to relax and enjoy the gorgeous views of the mountains.
The value for money. The price we paid for a single room without breakfast felt a bit steep, especially considering the lack of breakfast and the fact that we were sleeping in bunk beds.

Great location for exploring the area, with a variety of attractions and dining options within walking distance. the communal kitchen was clean and tidy, and we appreciated having the option to prepare our own meals. the room was spacious and comfortable, exceeding our expectations for the price we paid.
Our stay was marred by a few issues. the bunk bed in our room was broken and unsafe, with missing slats and loose ones.

We stayed at a hostel in the village, with warm beds and hot showers. the location was great, with easy access to restaurants, cafes, and nearby sights like Urquhart Castle. the hostel had comfortable beds and a TV in the room. the view from the front of the hostel was enjoyable. the facilities and a convenience store were also nearby. Despite a few hiccups during check-in and check-out, we found the overall experience worth the price.
Nothing negative to say.

Despite a few minor inconveniences like a key that didn't fit and an outdated breakfast, our stay at 1 Lochness Rooms&Hostel in Drumnadrochit was surprisingly enjoyable. The room was clean and tidy, and we managed to figure out everything without needing assistance from the staff. Plus, the self-check-in process was well-explained and the room exceeded our expectations in terms of size and comfort. We even had a lovely outdoor space with a table. The kitchen was also clean and well-equipped, and the accommodation was much better than we anticipated for the price. I highly recommend this hotel for a cozy and affordable stay.

Great location, close to key attractions and in a quiet area. Friendly staff and easy check-in process. - Access to a kitchen was a useful bonus.
The mattresses were poor quality and uncomfortable. The walls were thin and noise from other guests could be heard.

I stayed at 1 Lochness Rooms&Hostel for a weekend getaway and had a delightful time. Despite the January snow, I was comfortably warm in my ensuite room. The parking was convenient and easy to find. The facilities and price were excellent for a hostel, with a lovely double bed in room 8. The owner was highly knowledgeable about the area and recommended great walks. There's a charming cafe next door for breakfast, which made up for the lack of tea and coffee in the room. it felt more like a good class hotel than a hostel.
I do recommend this hotel.

The location of the hostel was very convenient for us as it was within walking distance of the Loch Ness Exhibition/Visitors Centre. We were able to easily book a boat tour and explore the gift shops nearby. The famous Urquhart Castle was also just a short 5-minute drive away. Additionally, there were plenty of shops in the area and everything we needed was within close proximity. The room was clean and comfortable, allowing us to have a great night's sleep. The hostel itself was relatively new and had modern facilities. We appreciated the free onsite parking, wifi, and access to a well-stocked kitchen and living room. It had a homely atmosphere and we were able to help ourselves to tea, coffee, and hot chocolate at any time. The continental breakfast included in the price was a nice bonus, with options like toast, croissants, and cereal available. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hostel.
We felt incredibly welcomed during our stay and there was nothing to complain about.
