For the price, we got great value with a tidy and surprisingly spacious room. The beds were comfortable, towels were provided, and the bonus of having Netflix on the TV was a nice touch for winding down after a long road trip. The location was perfect, right in the heart of town and surrounded by multiple dining options. highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

The shared seating area outside our room provided a lovely space to relax and enjoy the gorgeous views of the mountains.

The value for money. The price we paid for a single room without breakfast felt a bit steep, especially considering the lack of breakfast and the fact that we were sleeping in bunk beds.

I stayed at 1 Lochness Rooms&Hostel for a weekend getaway and had a delightful time. Despite the January snow, I was comfortably warm in my ensuite room. The parking was convenient and easy to find. The facilities and price were excellent for a hostel, with a lovely double bed in room 8. The owner was highly knowledgeable about the area and recommended great walks. There's a charming cafe next door for breakfast, which made up for the lack of tea and coffee in the room. it felt more like a good class hotel than a hostel.

We were able to easily book a boat tour and explore the gift shops nearby. The famous Urquhart Castle was also just a short 5-minute drive away. Additionally, there were plenty of shops in the area and everything we needed was within close proximity. The room was clean and comfortable, allowing us to have a great night's sleep. The hostel itself was relatively new and had modern facilities. We appreciated the free onsite parking, wifi, and access to a well-stocked kitchen and living room. It had a homely atmosphere and we were able to help ourselves to tea, coffee, and hot chocolate at any time. The continental breakfast included in the price was a nice bonus, with options like toast, croissants, and cereal available. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hostel.
